The Aureate Assembly is a production and economy powerhouse. Masters of manufacturing and infrastructure, the Assembly excels at building massive industrial networks and adapting their neighbors' capabilities to fuel their economic engine.

| Home System | Aureus Tetrad |
| Planets |
Aurum (2/0) — The industrial and financial capital of the Assembly, its surface almost entirely covered by urban sprawl and manufacturing districts. Ochren (0/2) — A world of institutions — courts, academies, and legislative halls that have been in continuous session for over four centuries. Lux (1/1) — A temperate agricultural world whose surplus feeds the other three, governed with unusual autonomy by its farming collectives. Solis (1/1) — The youngest settled world of the Tetrad, still developing, already wealthy, and deeply aware of both facts. |
| Population | ~28 billion Aureates |
| Government | Assembly A deliberative body of elected representatives, though the wealthiest voices have always carried the furthest. |
| Disposition | Sovereign They carry themselves as the galaxy's natural rulers, extending influence through wealth and procedure rather than force. |
| Tendency | Economic They have built more wealth than any single fleet could ever protect, and they have made sure everyone knows it. |
No faction in the galaxy has more planets in its home system than the Aureate Assembly, and no faction has worked harder to ensure that everyone knows it. Aurum, Ochren, Lux, and Solis form a prosperous quartet of worlds that have been trading with each other since before any of them achieved independent spaceflight — by the time the Assembly formally unified, the economic infrastructure was already so deeply entangled that political union was simply the last formality in a process that had begun centuries earlier.
The Assembly governs through deliberation, procedure, and the kind of patience that only extreme wealth can afford. Their legislature is vast, their committees are numerous, and their votes are preceded by research cycles that other factions would consider the length of a minor war. This is not inefficiency — it is leverage. By the time the Assembly has reached a position, they have also quietly ensured that the outcome is already inevitable. Their military exists primarily to protect trade routes and discourage opportunism. They have never needed it for anything more, because they have never allowed a rival to grow strong enough to require it.
The Aureates are tall, bilaterally elegant humanoids with warm golden-amber skin tones that seem to catch light even in dim conditions, a biological quirk that their culture has enthusiastically leaned into. Their four home worlds, each with slightly different atmospheric compositions, have produced subtle regional variations: Aurum-born tend toward deeper ochre tones and broader frames; Solis-born run lighter and taller. They dress with deliberate, layered opulence — material wealth is displayed rather than concealed, and the complexity of one's attire communicates social standing with the precision of a ledger. Their eyes are amber to gold, and they have a habit of sustained, evaluating eye contact that other species often find either compelling or unsettling.
